North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) Annual Free Chlorine Maintenance - Reminder regarding upcoming system maintenance:
During the month of March, NTMWD will conduct their annual system maintenance by introducing "free chlorine" into their system. This is an effort to improve water quality throughout the system. Customers may experience higher than normal chlorine smell and taste and odor issues with the tap water. Running the faucet for around a minute or less may help with these issues. The water is safe to drink.
